"Before joining D.L.C., I struggled deeply with fear. Through the S.H.I.F.T. model especially the with the fear that kept disrupting and stopping me from moving on, I learnt that If I do not confront the fear. I will be my own enemy, thus I said to myself, If I do not start the coaching course, the worst that can happen to me is never starting, I wouldnt loose my hair. In fact I was my own obstacle. I choose to confront the fear and started the course. I kept on telling my self that the daily affirmations and committment will be my mantra for the rest of my life starting immediately. From then, I found my breakthrough, It has never, been the same, and I have never looked back. I have been able to coach my friends, fellow coaches, family and the list is endeless, I am now looking as becoming the most sort Coach.I came to understand that my fear was not a weakness, but a signal for growth. I made a declaration to confront my fears with courage and remain steadfast in my purpose. I took action by creating affirmations that resonated with my vision and validated my progress. "I had a procrastination issue before starting the course. I always put things off and kept thinking about them with no action. While doing the shift model with my coaching partner Grace Maina, I realized that the procrastination was fear trying to protect me from stepping out of my comfort zone. Coach Grace challenged me to commit to concise action like showing up to meetings or starting tasks 15min earlier than scheduled. I am more disciplined and more respected in my work. For the first time I was also able to commit to a specific gym routine and maintain it 4days a week and I have not relapsed. I feel great in my body, mind and soul. "I love helping people, that comes naturally. In fact I would say, if I could make money giving advice and helping others I would be rich. I knew I had to get the structures that I wanted if I was to fulfil my dream. Getting structure would also give me confidence, knowing that I am not fumbling in the dark. I went online and that was when I came across Destiny Life Coaching and through their S.H.I.F.T SEE/ HEAL/ INSTALL/ FORM/ TAKE ACTION, model I made a breakthrough. My SEE moment came when I was able to the story that I had been telling myself that yes, I loved helping people but I was not good enough. My HEAL moment came when I realised that I can create a new identity but there are things that I must let go off. Looking down on myself or discouraging myself negative self talk. I then realised that a new version of me was a possibility and I am in the process of creating a new identity. This is my INSTALL and FORM it moment. Since then I have decided on what I want to coach on and I have already have clients that I am working with. I have learnt alot and it has given the structures that I wanted. So far I have been on a national Television show and I have been invited as a speaker at a ladies meeting and I believe God has a lot in store for me.
